Product Care

To maintain polished finish on copper, brass, and nickel, rub with super fine (0000) steel wool or use polishing cloth or household metal polish such as BRASSO. Lay the piece as flat as you can (be careful of the clasp on a pin - if you press too hard you will crush the locking mechanism) and use gentle pressure to remove the patina and bring the metal back to bright. You may need to go over it a couple of times. Red, green, and antiqued copper and those with applied patina will last indefinitely; wipe with soft cloth only. At Miller Designs we offer free polishing. You can mail your Miller Designs treasures back to us, or bring them to a show, and we will make them look brand new! Some customers prefer the antique patina and never polish.
